Navy cuts could be "catastrophic," BAE Systems executive says

The U.S. Navy is planning to cancel maintenance and modernization on 22 ships if sequestration occurs March 1. "It is catastrophic to our industry, to our employees and, equally as important, to the readiness of those ships," said Bill Clifford, president of BAE Systems Ship Repair.
