Stimulus funds won't go far to ease Montana's sewer woes

Montana's rural sewer systems need extensive repairs and upgrades because the majority of the state's water infrastructure dates from the 1950s and 1960s, officials say. However, the economic stimulus package funding of $39 million will cover only seven to nine projects in Montana's small towns. Approximately 100 wastewater and water projects in the state need cash to begin construction.
