Obama moves to revamp medical malpractice laws

President Barack Obama is asking Congress to allocate $250 million for Justice Department grants as part of his campaign to reform state medical malpractice laws. The grants will help states amend their malpractice rules based on recommendations from the debt reduction commission last year. "I think the president is very serious about following up on this," HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said.
