Consumers tap mobile devices in stores for coupons, comparisons

Location-specific ad messages are more likely to lead to action by 3 in 4 consumers, and about 1 in 5 use their mobile devices to search for coupons when visiting a store, according to the latest Mobile Audience Insights Report from JiWire. The study also found that the leading mobile activity in stores is comparison shopping across all ages and both genders.
