Dietary advice for cancer patients is found to improve quality of life

Malnourished cancer patients who received dietary advice and/or supplements saw improvements in their quality of life, as well as weight and energy intake, according to an analysis of 13 studies. However, the report in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute said the nutrition interventions did not affect mortality rates.
