Lawyers can't cross-examine witnesses on BP post-spill investigation

A judge has barred plaintiffs' lawyers in a case against BP from cross-examining witnesses about an investigation after the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. The judge ruled that the "Baxter investigation" is guarded by attorney-client privilege. The case is scheduled for trial Feb. 27 in New Orleans.
