Common core brings major changes to high-school math

The Common Core State Standards are bringing an end to traditional math courses in one Ohio district, where students no longer will enroll in classes such as Algebra I, geometry and Algebra II, but instead take Integrated Math 1, 2 and 3. School officials say the new names are meant to underscore the district's integrated approach to math education.
