Developers get early hands-on look at wearable Google Glass

Google this month let a select group of developers toy around with its Google Glass, the wireless eye wear the company has in development, as part of its Glass Explorer Program in New York and San Francisco. Google let the developers handle the hardware and an application programming interface in the works. The result: Developers found more than 80 uses for Glass, and Google engineers working alongside the developers learned valuable lessons in advancing the technology, Google said.
