Amtrak cuts Acela fares to get travelers on track

With business travel in near hibernation because of the economy, Amtrak has slashed the fares on its high-speed Acela Express trains running between Boston and Washington. One-way business-class tickets have been discounted by as much as 25% to $99, from $133 for travel between New York and Washington, and to as low as $79 between Boston and New York.
