EU sets anti-dumping tariff on U.S. ethanol

U.S. ethanol entering the EU faces an anti-dumping tariff of about $83 per metric ton for the next five years after the EU determined that U.S. ethanol imports caused "material injury" to European producers of the biofuel. The levy, which will apply only to U.S. ethanol used for fuel, will take effect after its official publication within the next week.
