Many in Australia's Gen Y say smartphones are part of their identity

About 1 in 3 of Australia's 20-to-30-year-olds say they check their smartphones about once every hour, according to a Connected World Technology Report. Smartphones have a 91% market penetration for Australians in that age group, about a third of whom say they would feel a "part of them was missing" if separated from their phones.
