Web designers should embrace the idea of "graceful degradation" by ensuring that their sites work in older browsers, even if they don't appear as beautiful or fully featured, says developer Lea Verou. "Websites should be usable, if possible, in older browsers, but they don't need to have all the bling," she explains.
