Sequestration almost certain to take effect, McKeon says

Rep. Buck McKeon, R-Calif., who chairs the House Armed Services Committee and has been a vocal opponent of sequestration, said Friday that he believes the automatic budget cuts scheduled for March are going to take effect. "We are going to be forced into it. We have just not been able to get past the politics of it [all]," McKeon told reporters.
