South African hospital now equipped with Symbia T scanner

A Symbia T scanner recently was installed at the Universitas Academic Hospital in South Africa, enabling it to study a wide variety of diseases in the brain, heart, lungs and other human organ systems and to improve its service delivery. The scanner can be integrated with CT imaging to further enhance its scintigraphic quality by attenuation correction.
