When to reveal other offers

Disclosing you have other offers during an interview can be an advantage to a job seeker -- if you're already viewed as a good candidate by a hiring manager, Andrea Rice writes. The disclosure reinforces the manager's belief the person could be a good hire and could result in a better offer. But if the hiring manager is not interested, disclosing another offer can backfire, making you seem arrogant.
