Struble: Internet will not kill the radio star

Despite its technical advancements, Internet radio will not sound the death knell for over-the-air broadcast radio, according to iBiquity Digital President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Struble. Instead, he said, the competition should fuel continued improvements from the radio industry: "Internet radio is on the growing list of radio competitors, and is a driver for broadcasters to make AM/FM even better by ... creating compelling programming, addressing the local audience and promoting their product like crazy."
