Bank of Tokyo-MUFJ confirmed as lead bank of Cape Wind project

Cape Wind confirmed that it has chosen the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ as the lead bank in gathering funding support for its offshore wind project in Massachusetts' Nantucket Sound. The Japanese bank is expected to arrange $1.8 billion to $2 billion in debt financing for the project, which is projected to cost $2.6 billion, according to Power Intelligence.
