Fla. bill to undo E10 mandate would scare away investors, exec says

A bill in the Florida Legislature proposing to undo the 10% ethanol blend requirement in the state would drive away investors, biofuel advocates said. "Sending a message by repealing the [Renewable Fuel Standard] now sends a really chilling message that not only to ourselves with emerging technologies, but a lot of other companies who have invested money here," said Dan Cummings, whose company has invested $130 million in an ethanol project in Florida.
