Larger health care institutions see Big Data as a plus, survey finds

The use of Big Data analytics in health care has the potential to change personalized care, medical research and population health management, Ken Terry writes. An InformationWeek survey found that larger providers see advantages in Big Data, while smaller organizations are weighing the benefits. Large organizations such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of California are partnering with Big Data vendors to personalize care and improve efficiency.
