Nanoparticles show potential in carrying drugs to the brain

Researchers in India have developed drug-carrying nanoparticles that could one day deliver treatments to the brain through the nose. Laboratory tests found nanoparticles were able to carry and deliver the malaria drug artemether. The findings were presented at a nanoengineering meeting.
