Retractable roof to be studied for $975M Minn. stadium

Now that Mortenson Construction has been chosen to construct the Minnesota Vikings' $975,000 stadium, the team is turning its focus to the retractable roof. Lester Bagley, the Vikings' vice president of public affairs and stadium development, said he thinks "the odds are pretty good for a retractable feature," but admits "[i]t's going to come down to cost." He expects Mortenson to cost it out, and if it's not within the budget, the Vikings will talk to Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority.
