Biobased lubricants from vegetable oils are gaining market share as cost-effectiveness and biodegradability boost demand, according to this analysis. "There is definitely growing interest as people formulate with these new products and get familiar with their chemistry," said Kurtis Miller, head of industrial oils and lubricants at Cargill.
