Not-so-nano concrete used in nanoscale research building

Concrete played a big role in the construction of the NanoFab Xtension building of the University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. Built on a concrete mat slab that used 60 million pounds of concrete, contractors also utilized 1,352 precast concrete pieces for the structure.
