Teachers collaborate on classroom technology

Approximately 500 educators from schools across the country attended a conference in Portland, Ore., on topics from the latest hardware and software to online safety and social media in the classroom. Many teachers shared their experiences with educational technology, including one who described a program in which students access textbooks on Nook e-readers. Other teachers shared challenges they are facing in funding such classroom technology.
