BNSF's plan to try to use natural gas as an alternative for diesel fuel in powering its locomotives is expected to be "a win-win" scenario for North Dakota, according to this editorial. "If BNSF would begin fueling its locomotives with natural gas, it also would catch the attention of the larger transportation industry. There's potential to fuel all kinds of vehicles with natural gas," the editors wrote.
