Location-based ads still need a hook to reel in customers

Businesses using location-based advertising must make their offers locally relevant, mobile-friendly and attractive enough to draw customers when they are near a store, Beans Velocci writes. "For the most part, consumers apparently will not stop what they're doing just because they get an alert on their phone saying that they're near one of their favorite stores," Velocci concludes.
