More enterprises dropping PCs in favor of Macs

The rise of bring-your-own-device is threatening the long-held dominance of the PC in the enterprise workspace and paving the way for greater reliance on Mac machines, which were once regarded as too expensive for widespread business adoption, John Webster writes. Gartner predicts a 20% annual growth rate for Macs in the enterprise space through 2013. Forrester Research's Dave Johnson credits the trend to Macs' superior security.
