Nielsen: Traditional platforms still dominate for online video

The vast majority of online-video consumers still turn to televisions or computers rather than mobile devices to watch content, Nielsen reports. A survey of 28,000 consumers in 56 countries found that 56% reported monthly video viewing on a mobile phone, while more than 80% cited the use of more traditional platforms. Historical data, however, shows that usage is trending toward mobile devices.
