Officer highlights roles math, tech play in law enforcement

Arkansas State Police Sergeant Mack Thompson recently visited high-school students enrolled in a new criminal justice and law enforcement program. He emphasized that the subjects students learn today, including math and technology, are applicable to law enforcement careers. Specifically, he told students that math comes into play at accident scenes and that everything from flying unmanned drones to locating and tracking criminals involves technology.
