Some providers might switch EHR vendors by year's end

A Black Book Rankings survey of about 17,000 physician practices that actively use EHRs finds up to 17% are considering switching vendors by year's end as more EHR systems fail to meet providers' expectations. The incentives for meaningful use also "created an artificial market for dozens of immature EHR products," Black Book official Doug Brown said.
