Nanoparticles could help improve drug delivery

U.K. researchers are experimenting with polymer-based nanoparticles to create a drug-delivery system that could improve the treatment of central nervous system diseases. Their aim is to modify a naturally occurring peptide that is able to create temporary openings in the blood-brain barrier.
