Competition in the cloud-computing market is bound to heat up this year, Gary Orenstein writes. More acquisitions and partnerships are likely this year, he argues, as Microsoft, IBM, Google, Oracle and Cisco all jostle for market leadership. "Cloud computing providers are fortifying their positions, aiming to be one-stop shops for enterprises to shed internal infrastructure and move to online collaboration and communications," Orenstein writes.
