How Twitter's digital networking can save teachers time

Despite its reputation as a time-waster, Twitter can actually save teachers time, says sixth-grade teacher Bill Ferriter. He recommends that teachers work to build a "digital network" of collaborators who can offer advice and tips in a pinch. Recently, Ferriter vented on Twitter that he needed help with citations, and a Twitter follower quickly pointed him to a helpful website.
