CN may invest millions for second track in Duluth, Minn.

Canadian National is considering adding a second track out of Duluth, Minn., to alleviate congestion as it increases its shipments from the port of Prince Rupert in British Columbia to the Chicago area. CN says there are no concrete plans, but it has hired ProSource Technologies "to work with landowners along the busy rail corridor, including the city of Duluth and the Duluth Economic Development Authority."
