White House press secretary Jay Carney continues to withhold any sympathy for the many aviation workers who could lose their jobs if the Obama administration manages to eliminate the tax exemption for personal and corporate jets, saying it's a choice between "special" tax breaks or jobs for teachers. "These statements are totally outrageous and Mr. Carney should apologize," said General Aviation Manufacturers Association CEO Pete Bunce. "It's completely offensive to refer to hardworking Americans as 'difficult choices.' "
