Sandy-damaged cars are now estimated at 250,000, NICB says

The estimate of the number of insured vehicles damaged by Hurricane Sandy is up to about 250,000, the National Insurance Crime Bureau says. New York and New Jersey are expected to have the highest number of damaged vehicles, and further claims could push the figures higher, NICB said.
