Yankees Network Agrees On Carriage Deal With AOL Time Warner Cable

AOL Time Warner Cable reportedly has agreed to pay $2 per subscriber monthly to carry Yankees Entertainment and Sports full time on its digital tiers in New York City. YES also is to get full-time carriage on the operator's analog tiers in other parts of the state. The deal could give YES Chairman Leo Hindery leverage to cut deals with Cablevision and Comcast, which have balked at YES' licensing fees.
