Small S.F. firm manages clinical trials for bio, pharma companies

Dynarand, a San Francisco-based firm that manages clinical trials for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, grew from a two-person, garage-based operation to the point where it now provides its automated system to some 50 companies. The firm serves as an electronic middleman between companies that develop new drugs or devices and hospitals where they are tested.
