Stimulus funds double federal educational-technology support

The new economic-stimulus package includes $650 million dedicated to an existing educational-technology program as well as additional funds that can be used to improve rural schools' Internet connections and school data management. Special-education funds within the new law can also support assistive technology, educational-technology, experts say.
