Fla. district seeks to boost breakfast participation

Despite the availability of school breakfast, officials in Pinellas County, Fla., say a recent report shows that many low-income students, who are eligible for free breakfasts, are not taking advantage of their availability. However, officials expect breakfast participation to increase this year, following the decision to make breakfast free for all students and launch a program intended to encourage students to eat breakfast at school.
