"Undercover Boss" TV show leads to promotion for Texas woman

Tanna Marino worked for Dwyer Group franchise Mr. Appliance as an appliance technician before the "Undercover Boss" reality TV show changed her life. Dwyer Group CEO Dina Dwyer-Owens was inspired by Marino's success in a male-dominated field and helped her establish a scholarship fund and the "Women in the Trades" program. The show gave Marino an opportunity to share ideas for the company with Dwyer-Owens, which led to her promotion to a corporate consultant.
