Confusion over how to treat thyroid conditions and commonly missed diagnoses of thyroid problems are causing chaos in the medical community, say experts. The slow onset of symptoms are often missed by health care providers, prompting some to question why simple blood tests aren't being regularly performed before patients begin to show symptoms.
