Small Canadian firm hopeful for U.S. flu vaccine contract next year

ID Biomedical may not be able to sell its flu vaccine to the U.S. in time for the current season or for the 2005-2006 season, but CEO Tony Holler said he is optimistic the firm will get approval to supply Fluviral for the 2006-2007 flu season. The FDA still needs to inspect the company's facilities and approve its proposals for clinical trials for its vaccine.
