Senate examines SEC's response to possible insider trading at Lehman

The U.S. Senate Finance Committee is looking at the way the Securities and Exchange Commission dealt with accusations of insider trading by former Lehman Brothers executives. Iowa Republican Charles Grassley, a senior member of the committee, wrote to SEC Chairwoman Mary Schapiro asking whether the agency followed up on information provided by a former Lehman analyst who followed the semiconductor industry.
