Michigan CTO has grand visions for SaaS

Michigan's chief technology officer, Dan Lohrmann, believes Software-as-a-Service potentially could change how state governments conduct business and help states build their economic base by using SaaS technology to gain efficiencies and foster business development. His team is debuting pilot programs to bring low-cost data storage options to agencies as well as state educational systems.
