Survey: Most people want end-of-life care discussions

A California HealthCare Foundation survey of adults found 45% said it is very important to put end-of-life issues in writing and 79% said they definitely or probably would want to talk with their physician about end-of-life treatments if they were ill. Data showed only 7% of respondents indicated their physician had asked them about end-of-life care.
