Ad groups, actors begin talks

A joint committee of the 4A's and the Association of National Advertisers were slated yesterday to begin contract negotiations with the two leading actors unions, the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, in Manhattan. The talks about ad compensation come in the midst of a clash between SAG and the Hollywood studios.
