Cisco banks on virtualization security player

Cisco is one of several companies that have invested $10.5 million in HyTrust, a security virtualization player focused on solving VMware's hypervisor security authentication issues. It is seen as a strategic technology move given Cisco is offering software switches for virtualization deployments and uses VMware in its Unified Computing System.
