Mayo Clinic and GE Healthcare team up for home telehealth study

The Mayo Clinic is partnering with GE Healthcare on a yearlong research project to determine whether installing patient-monitoring devices in homes can help reduce hospitalizations and emergency department visits. The study will involve 200 high-risk patients, whose homes will be fitted with Intel's Health Guide devices.
