Technology enables young students to learn at their own pace

Educators at a Wisconsin elementary school say they use SMART Boards, iPods and iPod Touch devices almost daily to help customize lessons and allow students to learn at their own pace. Teachers say students in first and second grade are using the devices to practice math concepts on the iPod Touch and are also learning how to use Microsoft Publisher. "By using technology, it really does individualize their instruction," the school's principal said.
